Dr. David A. Blair earned his B.S. in history with a minor in French from Montana State University. He holds an M.A. in sport administration from the University of Northern Colorado. His Ph.D. (earned with distinction) in education with emphasis on leadership is from the University of Kansas. Dr. Blair’s teaching experience includes the University of Kansas, Colby-Sawyer College, and Southern New Hampshire University. In addition, Dr. Blair has been a consultant for International Management Group (IMG), a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School, as well as a member of the Sport Management Program Review Council (SMPRC). Dr. Blair’s research interests include Title IX, sport law, and student engagement. Dr. Blair is currently the Director of Institutional Research at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Dr. Blair is married and has one son. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, biking, mountain climbing, and golf.
