Dr. Bert Carron is a Professor in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education, the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology, and the Canadian Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology Association. He is a Past President of the Canadian Association for Sport Sciences and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Sports Medicine Council of Canada. In 1998, Bert was a co-recipient of the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education¡¯s ¡°Sport Science Award of the International Olympic Committee President.¡± Currently, he is a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, the International Journal of Sport Psychology, and Small Group Research. Bert¡¯s research focuses on group dynamics in sport teams and exercise groups. |
