Joy T. DeSensi is with the Cultural Studies in Education Unit in the College of Education at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her primary research interests are theoretical foundations of multiculturalism, gender, race, and ethnicity in sport, and ethics, and leadership in sport management. She has made numerous national and international presentations and is the author and coauthor of book chapters and articles that appear in Quest, Journal of Sport and Social Issues, Journal of Sport Management, and the Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. She is currently Editor of the Journal of Sport Management, serves on the Editorial Board for Quest, and is a Past President of the Philosophic Society of the Study of Sport.
